Independence Day celebrations in Bexley include the annual John Barr 5k, a legendary parade, a fantastic community celebration on Main Street, and of course, a mesmerizing display of fireworks.
Whether you're "oooh" and "aaah" ing at the fireworks, running in the 5K, catching candy at the parade, hitting up a neighborhood block party, or dancing to The Big Rockin' Blues Band, it's going to be a big celebration, Bexley! A huge thank you to the scores of volunteers that work year round to help plan and fundraise for these events and to Bexley Celebrations & Events at Bexley Community Foundation whose generous support makes the Fourth possible!

John Barr 5K-Registration
The John Barr 5K, presented by Bexley Automotive, is a run that starts and ends at Jeffrey Mansion (165 N. Parkview). The race begins at 8:00 am sharp, leaving plenty of time to cool off and watch or participate in the parade!

Registration Fee:
Early Registration (by 6/8 at 11:59 pm): $30
Regular Registration (6/9 - 7/3 at 11:59pm): $35
Day-of Registration (7/4): $40
All participants will receive a race bag. Be sure to register by June 8 to be guaranteed a race shirt.
