The Problem:
Their software was old and custom, running on a local server. They needed to migrate to a data center and possibly alter the code to be used in the new environment.
Our Solution:
First phase would be analysis. We would document all the applications and then come up with a plan to migrate to the new environment, with the assumption that a lot of code would need to be updated. This included some public facing websites that we updated UX to be in line with current government branding.
The Approach:
After analysis we set up a mirror environment to test if the applications would work in the new environment, and made necessary changes to the applications. Post-migration we began updating applications to improve performance and reduce security issues
Evolution:
In addition to R&M, we’ve continued to analyze applications for outdated software that we can replace with something new.
