been quiet

Yes I have…
Slowly gaining energy after iron issues…

but if I have been quiet on the blog, I kept painting and drawing…
I am still working on my 100 faces challenge. A slow progress that brings
me joy!

I bought some new graphic watersoluble pencils and had a good fun trying them out

I feel my style is evolving. The experiments and learnings are getting integrated… a long way to go but I’m enjoying the ride;)

Melancholy talk to me

I have been procrastinating quite a bit, painting cards and mini canvas that were abandoned. The melancholic post Christmas feel I guess…

Then, I thought I would just try…

Painting values

Then, applying different value, trying to keep the paint brush flowing…

so hard to make sense of colors…

During this attempt, I realized how little I know about colors and values…

so much to learn 😉

A box of reminders

One of the fabulous project of Full Circle workshop from Misty Mawn is to create an explosion box… box of dreams as she called it…

For me, this will be my box of reminders…

to remind me where I came from, the journey within,
my yearning for more, for freedom mostly;
my desire for growth and integration…
(despite the running away)

my inner discoveries and exploration…
to remind myself that I matter,
that I am enough…
little and lost at times,
grounded and powerful the other times;)

and that I am daring greatly!!
