The language from Israeli Govt regarding its ongoing & planned atrocities in Gaza is deeply disturbing. There can be no equivocation; where civilians are targeted & killed it is a war crime. What happened in Israel last w’end was horrific but it cannot justify war crimes

Re tonight's vote: The issue of homelessness is an extremely important one for me, I’ve worked in the area, I’ve been a whistleblower in the area, I have friends who work in the NGOs and I feel we need to do everything we can to tackle it. I’m elected in part to be a legislator.

Mid gov negotiations I obviously thought carefully about this. But with all that’s happened re #BlackLivesMatter and the importance of steering attention towards every institution of the State, #BlackLivesMatter is far more important than any sensibilities I might bruise.

Hello @LeoVaradkar, you might recall on my 1st day in the Dáil Éireann I asked you to set up a National Action Plan Against Racism (last one expired 10yrs ago). It seems the @UN thinks it's a good idea too after recently examining how we have been doing. irishtimes.com/news/social-af…
