My article talking to (or listening to) Mark, a London gang member, who has lost over 15 friends and acquaintances to knife crime.

Convicted paedophile given custody of young girl and gets her pregnant - as authorities believe 'he poses low risk to kids.' This kind of custody ‘agreement’ - children being handed to abusive men - is (horrifyingly) happening a lot up and down the UK.

This woman should be sent around schools to give workshops to girls on how to excel in fabulousness.
Would you wife a woman with a high body count?

Thank you too, @MaggieOliverUK and @PendleburyRick for all your invaluable help with getting these horrific stories to air.

I too have signed an NDA - which I’m breaching right now - but mine was with BBC News, not ITN. The whole experience almost destroyed me. And shattered my career for a decade. But journalists must be willing to fight for themselves if they have any hope of fighting for others.
My article in @spectator is now free to read. Thank you to everyone has sent me kind comments, they really mean a lot. Thank you also to @FraserNelson for believing us, caring about this and allowing me to write. spectator.co.uk/article/how-it…

Whatever your thoughts on the monarchy or the Queen it’s ridiculous and outrageous to arrest someone for holding a sign that asks for abolition.

The news reports that 40% of households will enter fuel poverty after the price rises kick in later this year. That’s almost half the population. In one of the richest countries in the world. What is the point of working if you can’t heat your home? It’s not just about benefits.

“If you’re not travelling it can be classed as loitering.” Is this type of attitude really necessary towards a pedestrian asking a few questions? It appears to be so deliberately intimidating. And just the opposite of good public relations.

Robert Jenrick on BBC saying that people who've 'fallen between the cracks' in respect of cost of living should 'phone the council.' There speaks a man who's never waited for hours on a phone trying to get through to the council. And does he think they will hand a cheque over?

And let’s include news editors in this. For too long now the majority have stayed silent - or allowed this dangerous distortion of words and their meaning to take place. I have seen and heard so much fear in journalists about speaking out. Enough. We are meant to deal in truths.

The Met police frequently strip-search young, black lads in police vans. I know this because they tell me. They’re told “either custody suite or back of van”and they choose the van because they’ll get away quicker. It’s humiliating for them. And illegal. But nobody seems to care.
It said it was highly likely that "adultification bias" was a factor - where adults perceive black children as being older than they are because they see them as more "streetwise". apple.news/AiAEhYFsGSTmfi…

Despite telling officers repeatedly that he could not breathe Mr Taylor was left lying on the street on one of the hottest days of the year without an inhaler, water or medical assistance. Police officers told him to “grow up” and to stop “acting up.”
The inquest into the death of Ian Taylor, a 54 year-old Black British man from Brixton who died after suffering a cardiac arrest whilst being held by the Met, concluded yesterday. Police did not take him to hospital despite knowing ambulance was delayed hja.net/news-and-insig…

“If you are British, the chances are that you will have a Barbour lurking somewhere in your house.” At around £270 for the basic coat, I doubt this. Gotta love the Telegraph for having no idea that half the country are struggling to spend £10 in Primark.🙄

“Cost of living” is to poverty, hunger and cold what “gig economy” is to slave wages and no workers rights. We - the media - use these phrases endlessly, myself included. But they sanitise and disguise the grim reality of what is happening to millions of people.
