These 7th grade dudes are coming along well. Finally turned them loose a little bit today. Been at this for about 8 weeks. Development is like a good brisket...it takes time. 🔥🔥🔥
Your middle schooler doesn't need "sport specific" training with a private trainer. They need to stop playing that sport year round, eat real food, sleep well, and become a better athlete through strength and speed training.
Have had these 7th graders 1 day a week during their season now switching over to our development block. Even though it's one day a week it made day one WAY smoother.
Hardest movement to teach is the hinge so it gets hit from Day 1. Big complex day.
Few weeks ago we realized our kids couldn’t do basic tumbling so we’ve been mixing it into our speed days. Sometimes we set the parameters this rep they chose. The only rule was there had to be 1 Jump, 1 Spin, and 1 Tumble. Not going to the Olympics anytime soon but it’s better.
Question for the brainiacs. What do we think is going on? 9 months post ACL, reconstruction, cleared from the doc, RTP for about 3 months, shake only started when we increase her practice volume. It happens on any ISO variation. @WGF1@MarkHoover71@TFConsortium
