Iโm not one for complaining but I am gutted! I spent 27 years in the Army and today I was going to vote in my local elections. I was sadly turned away at the door as my Veteran ID was not allowed as formal ID. I will be fighting for this โspecial IDโ to be โmoreโ formal๐ฌ๐ง
- Veterans ID cards will not be able to be used for voting tomorrow at #generalection2024 Veterans pls RT. @itvnews 7pm tonight will echo this to any Veterans who maybe watching and not on SM. Letโs hope we get this implemented soon including a Welfare Check for all Veterans ๐
