Summer Meals
Cy-Fair Nutrition Services offers free, nutritious breakfasts and lunches to children 18 and under, as well as to enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21, at select school locations. All meal sites will be open Monday through Thursday.

June 11, 2026—Tayaka Daniels, assistant principal at McFee Elementary School, was named principal at Lieder Elementary School on June 11. Daniels replaces Dinah McMichael, who was named CFISD’s director of human resources for staffing and employee relations on May 19.

June 9, 2026—District 16-6A baseball coaches recently released the 2026 16-6A All-District Baseball Team after Cypress Woods, Cypress Ranch, Bridgeland and Langham Creek high schools all concluded their seasons in the first round of playoffs.

June 8, 2026—District 17-6A coaches released the 2026 17-6A All-District baseball team over the weekend following Houston Memorial’s finish as the 6A Division II state runner-up.

June 4, 2026—It was a week of celebration at the Berry Center from May 27-30. A total of 9,468 CFISD students graduated across the graduation ceremonies for CFISD’s 12 high schools.
