Cypress Ridge High School junior Allison Ramirez, second from left, won College Board’s BigFuture $40,000 scholarship. Ramirez was surprised with the scholarship during a celebration ceremony on Sept. 24. She was joined by, from left, Dr. Abe Lozano, Cypress Ridge principal; Edwin Ramirez, Allison’s father; and Dinora Ramirez, Allison’s mother.
![Free Supper Services for any student who stays after school for athletics, clubs, tutorials and/or any extracurricular activities. To encourage 11th and 12th grade students to explore areas of interest, the district offers courses on a pass/fail basis.
The deadline to apply for a Pass/Fail Course is August 22, 2025.

A new Texas law (House Bill 1481) requires school districts to prohibit student use of all personal communication devices during the school day. Therefore, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is updating its cell phone policy.
