Configure Key Source

Configure where keys come from for each product – generators, preset keys inventory, or manual assignment.

Key Source Options

Option 1: Automatic

Best for: New inventory, automated generation

How it works:

  • Keys generated using a pattern
  • Created on-demand or in batches
  • Consistent format guaranteed
  • Never runs out

Configuration:

  • Select Automatic from Key Source
  • Choose a generator from the dropdown
  • Or create a new generator
  • Save the product

Option 2: Preset

Best for: Pre-purchased keys, game codes, gift cards

How it works:

  • Uses manually imported keys
  • Random selection from pool
  • FIFO or random assignment
  • Full control over inventory

Configuration:

  • Select Preset from Key Source
  • Import keys via CSV/TXT
  • Or create keys manually
  • Set status to “Available”
  • Keys assigned from pool

Configuring Key Source

Step 1: Access Product Settings

  • Go to Products > [Edit Product]
  • Find Product Data panel
  • Enable Keys option

Step 2: Select Key Source

  • Find Key Source dropdown
  • Select option:
    • Automatic (Default Settings Pattern)
    • Preset
  • Configure source details

Step 3: Configure Source Settings

For Automatic (Generator) Source:

Choose a generator from the list and update the product

For Preset Source:

Import keys first (Key Manager > Tools > Import)

Stock shows available count
