uVision2 by Keil is a Windows-based integrated development environment designed for embedded microcontroller projects. It brings project management, source-code editing, build automation, and debugging together in a single workspace and integrates tightly with Keil compilers, assemblers, and linkers. A built-in device database and configuration tools help set up memory maps, startup code, and options for popular 8- and 16-bit families such as 8051, C251, and C166/ST10.
The debugger supports instruction-set simulation as well as target-level debugging through compatible hardware adapters, with features like breakpoints, watch windows, register and memory views, and, depending on the device, peripheral-aware simulation. As an earlier-generation release of Keil’s µVision IDE, uVision2 streamlines the firmware development cycle from editing and building to testing and verification, making it a solid choice for maintaining or developing legacy embedded systems.
uVision2 is developed by KEIL and is used by 27 users of Software Informer. The names of program executable files are Uv2.exe, Uv3.exe, cyuvdriverinstaller.exe, Keil uVision4.exe and Uv4.exe. Works with dpt file type. This particular product is not fit to be reviewed by our informers.
