The Utah Domestic Violence Coalition (UDVC) plays a critical role in shaping domestic violence public policy in Utah. Through collaboration and advocacy, we help develop and inform statewide strategies that promote safety, support healing, and foster prevention alongside service providers, individuals impacted by domestic violence, and community members who are committed to ending interpersonal violence.

The UDVC’s legislative priorities are selected by the Public Policy Committee and voted on by the UDVC board. The UDVC considers the priorities to be the most pressing and impactful legislative efforts for domestic violence victim survivors and service providers in the 2026 session.

The UDVC involves service providers, community members, victim survivors, and partners when decisions are made that will affect the welfare and support for domestic violence victim survivors.
