That same colleague reminded me today of this UB40 song from way back when I was still in highschool. I had the 7″ version back then, but I didn’t hear this one for a long time.

[[UB40]] on the verge of becoming main stream commercial. I like the fact that Astro sings this; somehow that gives this a more authentic reggae feel.

In 1980, [[UB40]] still was a classic reggae band, singing protest songs and coming from unemployed situations. This was the first single I ever bought on my own. I loved it to death. Now is the first time in years I listen to it, but it moves me still.
