I honestly don’t remember when or where I first heard this [[Devo]] song, but it immediately struck me through its intensity, simplicity and lo-fi sound.

Wonderful cynical song (or is it?). I never heard of Devo until I read about them on an american weblog. Then I heard Lunkhead‘s cover of Beautiful World on Somesongs, and I liked it a lot. The lyrics gain meaning when you see Devo’s clip with it.
