Tethered allows you to use Slack’s Webhook feature to receive important notifications related to your monitors via Slack.

How to create a Webhook in Slack #

How to set up Slack as a Notifier #

  1. Navigate to “Notifiers”
  2. Click the “Add new” button
  3. Select “Slack” as the notifier “Type”
  4. Enter your “Slack Webhook URL”
  5. Select whether you would like the notifier to be used for all monitors or select the specific monitor it applies to
  6. You can enable and set scheduling for your notifier
  7. Set up your notification template. (Leave fields empty if you wish to keep the default template)
  8. Click the “Save Notifier” button
