Airtable (PRO)

Airtable makes it easy to collect, organize, and manage customer information in one powerful and flexible database. By connecting Contact Form 7 with Airtable, you can automatically capture form submissions and store them directly in your Airtable base without any manual data entry.

 

This documentation explains how to set up an integration that automatically sends customer information from Contact Form 7 to Airtable whenever a form is submitted.

 

Before you start: Make sure Contact Form 7 and Essential Addons for Contact Form 7 (PRO) are installed on your WordPress site.

Enable Airtable Integration

Before connecting your Airtable account with Contact Form 7, you need to enable Airtable integration. Follow the steps below to get started:

 

  • Navigate to the Contact Form 7 menu.
  • Go to Essential Addons.
  • Click the Global Settings tab > Integrations > Airtable Enable Airtable Integration.

Configure Airtable Settings

Once you activate the Airtable Integration toggle, you’ll discover a few other options. This is where you configure your Airtable environment and provide the necessary credentials to connect your account.

 

Here’s what each field means:

 

  • Airtable Token: Enter your Airtable Token to connect your Airtable account with Contact Form 7.
  • Airtable Base ID: Enter your Airtable Base ID to connect your Airtable account with Contact Form 7.

How to Get an Airtable API Token?

To get the Airtable API Token, follow the steps below:

 

  • Create an account on Airtable.
  • Navigate to Airtable Developer Settings > Personal Access Tokens.
  • Click on Create Token.
  • Enter Token Name, Add Scopes, Select Access Type > Click Create Token.

How to Get an Airtable Base ID?

To get the Airtable Base ID, follow the steps below:

 

  • Log in to the Airtable account.
  • Create a Table.
  • Copy the Base ID by following the screenshot.

Configure Airtable Additional Settings

Before collecting & storing necessary information through Contact Form 7 to Airtable, configuring additional settings is mandatory. Otherwise, the functionality won’t work as expected.

 

Follow the guidelines below to configure the settings properly.

 

  • Navigate to Contact Forms to create a new form or edit an existing one.
  • Enter Form Name, customize Form Template, and others.
  • Navigate to Integrations from Essential Addons for Contact Form 7 settings > Airtable > Enable Airtable Integration if it’s disabled.
  • Airtable Select Table: Select the table from Contact Form 7 Data.
  • Airtable Field Mapping: Add necessary fields in the form to map & collect information from Contact Form 7 to Airtable.
