Love Grows Cold

While I was writing about The “Let’s Break Up” Sh!t Test (LBUST) and the motivations behind it, I gathered an important takeaway — that the LBUST game play is a tell-tale sign of an Avoidantly Attached woman.  Thus, social media being flooded with women playing the LBUST indicates that there is a mass proliferation of women with an Avoidant Attachment style.

research study by Konrath et al. (2014) indicates this is true. The percentage of people having an Avoidant Attachment style has more than doubled since the 1980s, and now stands between 20-25% of the population.  That’s huge!

Lack of Supply is what Drives Demand

In this essay, I want to address this statement proffered by a reader, riuoku [emphasis mine]:

“I am still scratching my head at the following issue:

We want to tell women to be accountable and submissive.  Of course, they should forget about “finding themselves” in their 20s.  But, that still doesn’t solve the problem that there won’t be enough attractive men for them to marry — unless we demand them to marry men they are not attracted to, which I am not sure is a great idea either.

…there just don’t seem to be a collective way to solve this problem.  Am I missing something?”

This reader is resonating a common refrain we’ve often heard from TheDeti, that women need to choose a man, marry him, sex him up regularly, and have his kids — without much regard to attraction.  (Deti is welcome to correct me if I’ve got him wrong on this.)

But let’s reframe this.  This is seeing the problem as one centered around the supply of attractive MEN.  This is a WOMAN’s perspective.  The thing that is missing is MEN’s perspective.

A Brief Summary of Intersexual Relationship Structures

I’ve written tomes on marital / relationship structures. Here, I want to offer a comprehensive summary of these structures so that readers can put The Main Event into perspective.  (Recently, I saw some comments around the sphere that indicate some readers haven’t yet gotten this.)

Intro

My last post covered The “Let’s Break Up” Sh!t Test (LBUST) and explained why it doesn’t ‘work’.

Here, I’ve come up with six motivations that Women may have for playing The “Let’s Break Up” Sh!t Test.  There may be others, and there are probably more than one in play for any given scenario, depending on the gal.

  1. Boredom / Entertainment
  2. Control / Dominance / Manipulation
  3. Ego Gratification / Selfishness
  4. Envy
  5. Insecurity
  6. Validation

I’ll go through each of these.

The “Let’s Break Up” Sh!t Test

Intro

If you’ve been watching Red Pill 2.0 creators and/or T!kT0k, then you’ve surely seen examples of the “Let’s Break Up” Sh!t Test.

This particular Sh!t Test has come up many times on social media (IG, T!kT0k, etc.) over the last year or two, originally by female vloggers who are horrified to discover that it backfires on them, and then by ManoTubers commenting about the stupidity of these women and congratulating the men for walking away.

If you haven’t seen it, then you’ll have to check it out.  The utter inanity is epic hilarious, but if you have a sensitive conscience, it’s somewhat sad.

Let’s go through this.

Merchant marines are reputed to have many illegitimate children.

In the popular lore of the 19th and early 20th century, it was the milkman.

In ye olde Manosphere lore, it is the college frat guy working as a pool cleaner.

Today, there are jokes, quips, and video shorts about surprising DNA test results that have replaced all of the above.

Here’s a funny example.

Bread or Buns?

Recently, there’s a new trend going through the secular SMP, “Bread or Buns”.

Call Me Shape: Men DEMAND Bread or Buns for DATES… Women FREAK OUT (2025/9/1)

The basic idea is that if a woman wants something from a man, e.g. heavy lifting, home repairs, paying for dates, special favors, etc.), then the woman needs to put up $$$ (Bread) or put out poon (Buns).

This is also being described as “The Law of Equivalent Exchange”.

The days of Chivalry are truly dead and gone.  This is darn near the sexual license social equality that women have always been hankering for.

So let’s ask the question…

Is Bread or Buns Christian?

Sex Appeal Sells Just About Anything

Here’s an interesting little piece of Taiwan’s recent history that modern Western influence has erased from the culture.

Years ago in Taiwan, shop owners would commonly task their best-looking employees with being a hostess at the front door, working the cash register, or other positions that required regular interaction with clients.  These workers would be schooled in proper social etiquette and other common graces to make the best impression for the business.  This practice was also not-so-subtly competitive, as is most every aspect of business in Asia.  Thus, it was rather common to see nubile girls working in family-owned service industries and food stands, often working in revealing clothing.

Metaduction

I have been anticipating and preparing writings for this theme of Awareness and Introspection for more than a year.  In my prayers about what to write on this blog, I’ve received multiple assurances that the topics I’ve addressed in this theme are what Christian men need to be aware of during this New Era (which began in early July 2024, and which is not to be confused with the current Internet Age, which started in March 2024).

I postponed this theme for several months because (1) it didn’t seem like the right time, or something about it didn’t seem ‘appropriate’ for reasons I cannot explain, (2) the subject matter is difficult to absorb and some of it is a little too abstract or bizarre for the average man to comprehend (e.g., Gestalt, Meaning, Mythos, etc.), (3) I knew it wouldn’t receive much interest, and (4) there were always many other happenings going on that provided much more interesting topics to write about.

However, my conscience constrained me to post this content, despite its lackluster appeal.  So finally, at the beginning of August, I decided that I wasn’t going to put it off any longer and I began posting what I had prepared.

Conflicts of Mythos and Meaning

Wise leadership and a critical mass of people sharing the same Mythos are necessary for a community to become Meaningful and for Mythos to become reality.

Schrödinger’s Mythos

We often hear voices and see memes expressing the idea that the culture / society is disintegrating.  Part of what this means is that there is no central Mythos that ties everyone and every event together to form a congruent Meaning to it all.

The so-called Cultural War is over which Mythos should be predominant in society.  Psychologically, the battle is about how to perceive reality, what to believe, and how to respond in an ethical manner. If there is no shared Mythos to delineate a clear set of ethics, then people will not know how to act and respond.
