In light of Baumeister’s review of The Power of the Imagination, let’s explore this concept within the context of intersexual relationships (or the fantasies thereof).

Prof. Roy F. Baumeister is a highly esteemed psychologist who was widely cited within the Manosphere 1.0.
Here, I’ll cover one of his papers about the power of the imagination to shape outcome.
Roy F. Baumeister, E. J. Masicampo, and Kathleen D. Vohs, (2011) “Do Conscious Thoughts Cause Behavior?”, Annual Review of Psychology. 62:331–361. DOI: 10.1146/annurev.psych.093008.131126 [PDF]
In this paper, Baumeister et al. pose the question of whether conscious thoughts of a particular action can affect whether or how that action will be performed later.

Summary
As regular readers have probably surmised by now, Girl Game, as it now stands, consists of nearly NO real Honeycraft Game at all. Whatever Girl Game exists emanates from biology, gynocentric laws, Insecure Attachment, the momentum of cultural Feminism, Sex Appeal, and Witchcraft. Within these areas, wimmin now have The Epic Game of the millennia.
The good news is that, because of (or perhaps despite) all their Worldly Game, the disappointments, errancies, and shortcomings thereof are now causing many women to wake up to the eternal reality that they must come up with some kind of Honeycraft Game, or else be relegated to the dustbin of hissytory. We shall see how this plays out and what becomes of it.

What is ASMR?
Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) is a relaxing, tingly sensation that starts on the scalp and moves down the neck and spine in response to certain triggers. These triggers include sensual stimuli such as ever-so-gentle touches, feather tickles, smooth caresses, and soft sounds like babbling water, birds chirping, frogs croaking, rainfall, rustling leaves, tapping, whispering, white noise, etc.
ASMR was first observed in 2007, and was originally developed as a technique to help people relax and fall asleep. Since then, the phenomenon has become popular online, with many content creators producing ASMR videos that feature various auditory stimuli. Lately, these ASMR videos have added visual stimuli and have become increasingly sensuous and lusty, and have thus skyrocketed in popularity.
This post offers a survey of one of the most currently popular types of ASMR generating content: Girlfriend Role Play ASMR.
I’m sure readers have already seen many articles and videos about “The Great Feminization”, which is basically a culture shock wave generated from women who are beginning to notice the chilling downstream effects of Feminism, i.e. Men withdrawing from all intersexual enterprises (e.g. dating, marriage) and mixed sex spaces (e.g. bars, clubs, corporate workplace environments, etc.), and/or who are belatedly realizing the wisdom of ye olde Men’s Rights Activists, as well as other Men’s groups who have lamented the downfall of the West via Feminism and W0kism over the past three decades.
While the whole interwebz is spun into a sticky web of wide-eyed bewilderment, my response is…

There are some terrible speech habits creeping into the vocal stylings of the young ladies in our culture. Their speaking skills have much to be improved.
Here, I’ll cover four bad speaking habits that are rife among women, especially younger women — Fillers, Uptalk, Downtalk, and Vocal Fry.
Maybe by calling attention to these poor habits, we can help eradicate them.

A Devaluation of Respect
We live in an age when ordinary standards of civility have collapsed, but there is universal agreement on a supposed right of every moron and criminal to be treated with “respect.” We are urged to extend respect even to other species and the planet as a whole. Sometimes self-respect is enjoined upon us. But within my experience, the most common such injunction is addressed to men, exhorted ad nauseam to respect women. It would be a bold fellow indeed who presumed to disagree: when was the last time you heard anyone suggest that men ought to hold women in contempt?
In fact, it took me several decades of living in this world before I realized that I had never once heard anyone speak of the desirability of having respect flow in the opposite direction as well. But shouldn’t we want to see mutual respect between the sexes? And is it reasonable to expect male respect for women never to falter in the absence of any reciprocity?

Karens
Karens are annoying, catty, loud-mouthed women who are bossy, controlling, and constantly vexed about everything under the sun. They’re demanding, domineering, sarcastic, self-centered, spiteful, and vindictive.
They talk in vocal fry when relaxed, cackle like a W!tch when they’re happy, and screech when they’re not.
They take everything casually, and their life is the substance of $hits and giggles. Nothing is sacred or off limits. Everything is debased, or is made that way. Dignity is ridiculed as ‘fake’. Formality is scorned as ‘posing’. Respect is denigrated as self-hatred. All projection.
“Fake it ‘til you make it” applies to Wimmin too, except it’s NOT “The Winner Effect”.

Testosterone in Men and Women
There is a significant variability in natural testosterone (T) levels within both men and women. According to the National Institutes of Health, the normal range of T is 300 to 1,200 ng/dL for men, and about 30 to 95 ng/dL for women. Demographic confounds such as age, genetic composition, and being in a relationship can also affect men’s and women’s T levels differently.
Although women have much lower levels of T and higher estrogen levels than men, T is women’s dominant sex hormone, just as it is in men. Therefore, the effects of T on behavior are comparable. Tom Girls and Strong Independent Termagants are (relatively) high T chicks. Fluffy Freds and Sad Sams are low T men.
We tend to focus on T in men because it is the driving sex hormone, and because the subject of how T level affects men’s mood and performance has hit mainstream media in medical and supplement advertising (at least in the U.S.A.).
But we seldom think about T in women, or how their T levels affect their sociosexual behaviors.
The fun has a cost and only lasts for a limited time.

Foreword
Bardelys the Magnificent gave us this most excellent parable under Farm Boy’s post at Spawny’s Space, Evidence (2025/9/2). Two outstanding comments from Feeriker and CP follow. I’ve taken the liberty of editing the content for ease of reading. Many thanks to Farm Boy, BtM, Feeriker, and CP for their contributions to Manosphere lore.
