Terms and Conditions

Book Classes

Please book your place on a class on the Acuity booking system. (Even if you have a class pass or Membership)

If you have difficulty please email sarra@sarrayoga.co.uk to reserve your place

Recurring Booking

Members can make a recurring booking of their main class multiple weeks in advance.

Go to classes and select the class that you want to attend.
Select the date that you want to book
You will see a white drop-down menu -click make recurring. You can then choose all the dates that you want to attend.

The system will show you which of those dates are available for you to reserve a place.

Then go to checkout to confirm your booking. Use your Members code so you do not need to pay again.

Memberships

Regular Membership

£12 per 60 minute class
£14 per 75 minute class
Based on attending one class per week when classes are scheduled.
You will still be paying your subscription during the holiday times. You are not meant to have a class on those weeks. This is how the fee has been worked out. You can only catch up missed classes when it is you who have been away or ill.

Cooling Off Period

There is 1 week cooling off period for all subscriptions. This means that if you chaneg your mind you can cancel. Any classes attended during that time will be charged at the drop-in rate and your subscription fee returned and direct debit cancelled

Payments
Membership is a recurring payment by direct debit through Acuity. Payments are every 4 weeks from the date of purchase. It will therefore be a different date each month. Payments will still come out during holidays. The fee is based on attending 43 classes over the entire year.

Holidays where there are no scheduled classes but you are still paying your subscription
There are no classes during Christmas, Easter, May Half-term & August (9 weeks min.)

One to One

Yoga equipment
After the couple of months of classes please have a full set of yoga equipment for the class. This is yoga mat, 4 foam pads, a blanket, a bolster and a belt. In due course 2 bricks and a chair would be beneficial.

Cancellations

Please cancel your class 24 hours before the start time of the class. Cancel a class by simply clicking the cancel button on your booking email.

If it is less than 24 hours before the class please also WhatsApp Sarra 07734778758 to ensure that she knows that you can not make the class

The full fee is still applied if the cancellation notice is less that 24 hours before the class

Sarra has the right to cancel your class if she is ill or has a family emergency. She would also prefer reschedule the class if you are unwell with a virus, like cough/cold.

Cancel

Book a class and cancel at least 4 hours before to reschedule.

Open members must also cancel classes if they can not attend, otherwise there is a £5 admin fee

Sarra has the right to cancel your class or get cover if she is ill or has a family emergency.

Fire

In the event of a fire, please follow the teachers instructions.  At Cranleigh Arts go out the wooden fire doors just next to where you keep your shoes.go to the carpark at the back to be dismissed.

Personal belongings  including  shoes, and bicycles are at your own risk.

Fitness and Health

Students are advised not to undertake strenuous physical activities without first seeking medical advice if they have concerns over their physical condition.

The class teacher reserves the right to refuse access to any student if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered by attendance at the class.

Students with low/high blood pressure and/or cardiac irregularities should not attend class until they have written permission from their doctor. It is also not appropriate for women within their first trimester of pregnancy to attend standard classes. If there is any doubt, the student should consult his doctor. Students must notify the class teacher of any circumstances affecting their health, which may be exacerbated through continued attendance at classes.

Students are required to inform Sarra if they incur injuries or conditions, after the initial information stated on their medical form.

Hygiene

Shoes are taken off at the entrance of the studio. Please do not walk across the room in your shoes. This is seen as disrespectful to creating a sacred space.

In the interests of safety and hygiene, no crockery or glass are permitted in studio where the yoga classes is held. Only water is permitted in the Studios (no coloured drinks). Please do not walk around the Studio barefoot if you have verrucas or similar foot complaints. Please wear socks.

Sarra yoga will not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations, except insofar as such loss is by law incapable of exclusion.It is the students responsibility to ensure that they are capable of undergoing a routine of exercises provided by any programme which they follow, or class which they attend. You accept the risk of injury from performing exercises and are advised to consult their doctor prior to beginning any class. Sarra Yoga accept no liability for loss or damage to property of students or for injury to students during a class, at the class venue or outside the venue except insofar as such loss, damage or injury is by law incapable of exclusion.
