SAB APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN MARCH 9TH TO MARCH 23 SCROLL DOWN TO COMPLETE THE FORM

This is a great opportunity for students of Red River College Polytechnic

to gain valuable experience in a professional board setting, working with a diverse group of students to determine and achieve meaningful goals that will benefit the student body at Red River College Polytechnic.

As a member of the Students’ Association Board (SAB), the primary responsibility is to represent students from different constituency groups. Members of the board will attend all formal SAB meetings including sub-committees, follow Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised during board meetings and subcommittee meetings, and abide by the bylaws, mission, vision, and values of the Red River College Students’ Association.

Prior to and during meetings, members will have read executive reports and financial statements, bring forward and discuss student matters, move and vote on motions brought forward by the membership, executives, or students, and listen to formal presentations by external stakeholders regarding student issues.

Members are also expected to make themselves known to students by having their photo and name posted on SA media, speaking with students of their constituency to understand their concerns and needs, and bringing those items forward to SAB meetings.

All students may observe meetings as guests. To register and attend as an observer, please email sa_president@rrc.ca for more information on upcoming meetings.
