Business Intelligence to Compete in Large-Scale Retail

Given the highly competitive environment in which the company operates (compared to hypermarkets and supermarkets in large-scale retail chains), CODE' CRAI needs to assess its relative position by comparing it with its key competitors. Codè Crai has therefore decided to adopt a flexible Business Intelligence tool to provide its management with useful and timely information to identify untapped opportunities and improve company performance.

The platform allows data to be analyzed at various levels of detail, from category to individual item, thus offering a comprehensive and in-depth view of performance.

The integration of Nielsen market data into the company's data warehouse also enabled comparison analyses between internal and market data on key competitive variables, such as average price, promotional pressure, non-marketers, the marketing gap, brand impact, and weighted distribution, across all relevant geographies.
