Corofar is a major pharmaceutical intermediary distribution hub, managing a distribution system with over 200 pharmacies. It prioritizes quality service through the use of information technology. Corofar has been using the E3 product for control purposes for many years.

This vision is geared toward the creation of a modern and efficient management control and monitoring system for the main functional areas (sales and purchasing, logistics, and customer service) with interactive analyses of key management and economic variables and indicators, along with the related measurement of operational performance. This system is also used to identify and define the best operational policies to support development and customer service strategies.

Reasons for the choice
Corofar had long identified a Data Warehouse environment that would allow for the automatic acquisition of data from the company's existing AS/400 management system, without having to write complex data management and transformation programs in this environment. After carefully analyzing the solutions available on the market, they chose the E3 solution, which provides, in a single, integrated Italian-language environment, a state-of-the-art Data Warehouse, highly flexible Business Intelligence solutions for creating analyses and reports, and exceptional user-friendliness. The Data Warehouse is built on a Windows server and Oracle database, ensuring highly efficient data management.

In partnership with Relatech, we create interactive OLAP analyses, reports, and summary dashboards with indicators for the following topics:

Sales and purchasing: management of promotions, campaigns, and marketing mix; customer segmentation and demand analysis; management of supplier and customer discounts
Logistics and service: monitoring the accuracy of set-ups, controlling lost or missing sales, ABC rotation analysis
Income statement: profitability analysis, operating performance measurement, and efficiency ratio calculation
Training and support: the training program developed by Dialog Sistemi for COROFAR users has ensured the effective use of the implemented solutions.
