More games, more videos from Virtual Bastion’s YouTube channel, and more are yet to come! In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Mario, Peach, Luigi, and several others work to save the Flower Kingdom from Bowser, all with the help of the kingdom’s prized possession – the Wonder Flower!

Love it or hate it, Crimson Desert is making lots of waves both for what it is and what it isn’t. What follows is my two-cent take on its lacking story and the question “where has all the good game writing gone?”
Final Fantasy VI – Mog, Umaro, Gau, and the Grind
With The Returners, um…returned, at least as I knew them from the World of Balance, and nothing before the group but the Warring Triad and Kefka, it was time to do the only natural thing: grind. Grind out levels and side quests before the endgame. This is the way.
Right?
Right. So to the grind we go!

Visually stunning, MIO: Memories in Orbit makes a memorable first impression, as I wrote here on Virtual Bastion. But is it truly a keeper? …good question.

Much skate., less hate…I guess?
Once again, I remain in a state of flux over the fact that I’m still playing skate. on the regular. Sessions are down a bit from where they were a couple months ago, logging in few times times a week to do dailies/weeklies as opposed to every single day. Having a skate gamer by my side has helped fuel this primarily, but he’s not the only only reason I play. For all its issues, the game is super chill and enjoyable. Some of that comes from just coursing through and over the ma, listening to music (in game or not), and skating what looks interesting and exploring forgotten and/or new spots. While I’ve gotten better with understanding the game’s controls and flick-it system, I have a looooong way to go with mastery. So a lot of the enjoyment I get from the game comes from simply trying. Failure is imminent and not punished. The fact that I’m in control of what I’m doing goes a long way in keeping the skate. in my roster.

Will I forever be the world’s loudest broken record here and on Virtual Bastion when it comes to loving the Fable games (mostly) and being excited for its next iteration that’s due out later this year? Yes, yes I will.
