I was whisked into the world of Pilates in 2013 and have since been fascinated by the practice of it. It is a lifelong learning journey.

I was in bad physical shape in my early 20s and could barely do a proper sit-up and stretch! I dislocated my knee during a rollerblading session, and through Pilates, I’ve gained strength in flexibility and more control of my body. Pilates has also made me more confident to try other forms of fitness.
To me, Pilates is the “foundation” for all sports and is an added benefit to incorporate into our daily lifestyle. I would love to share my knowledge with everyone who loves Pilates.

Hi, I’m Qianru. I’ve explored many forms of exercise over the years from yoga to spin but I truly fell in love with Pilates for its unique focus on mindful movement, core strength and control. It’s not just about working out; it’s about developing strength from within, improving posture, and moving with intention.

 

I’ve been practicing Pilates ever since, and it has become an essential part of my lifestyle. Through my own postpartum journey, I’ve experienced firsthand how Pilates can support the body during pregnancy, aid in recovery, and rebuild strength safely and effectively.

 

This has inspired me to help others, especially women navigating pre- and postnatal stages feel strong, supported, and confident in their bodies at every stage.

My journey with Pilates began over 10 years ago when I explored both yoga and Pilates. During my pregnancy, I discovered the incredible benefits of Pilates, which supported me immensely both during and after. This experience deepened my commitment to blending different workout styles, including callisthenics, to create a balanced fitness routine that builds strength, improves posture, and enhances overall well-being.

Pilates has shown me its unique ability to target specific muscles, promote better alignment, and foster excellent self-care and mind-body awareness. It’s been a humbling and ongoing journey of self-discovery and personal growth.
I’ve completed STOTT Pilates training in Mat, Reformer, and ICCB courses and extensive anatomy education. Additionally, I’ve participated in workshops on postnatal Pilates and herniated disk management, ensuring I can design tailored workouts that cater to individual needs. My experience includes working with individuals dealing with herniated disks, providing me with valuable insights into their physical and mental challenges. Having personally experienced diastasis recti and successfully improved it through Pilates, I was inspired to pursue specialised training in this area. I firmly believe everybody is unique and constantly evolving—a truth I’ve learned through my journey.
I enjoy experimenting with various exercises and celebrating the results they bring. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, I aim to create a supportive environment where you can challenge yourself and uncover new capabilities. Together, we’ll design customised workouts to help you feel your best, stay strong, improve your lifestyle, and—most importantly—enjoy the process!

I’ve always been drawn to dance and the beauty of movement. Pilates deepened that connection for me, it’s fascinating how our bodies express emotion through motion, reflecting how we live and feel each day.

 

Pilates also played a special role in my own recovery. After multiple ankle injuries from dance, it helped me rebuild my strength while leaving me feeling lighter, more centered, and at ease each time I practiced.

 

Through teaching, I hope to create a gentle, supportive space where people can reconnect with their bodies at their own rhythm — moving with grace, strength, and ease at any age, both in daily life and in the activities they love.

After 13 years of competitive cheerleading, I was no stranger to pushing my body hard—and dealing with injuries along the way. I wanted something that could still challenge me, but also help me feel more connected, balanced, and in tune with my body.

That’s when I found Pilates. What started as something new quickly became a non-negotiable part of my routine. Pilates helped me move better, recover smarter, and build a deeper awareness of my body as an athlete.

Now, I’d like to teach Pilates with the hope of helping others experience that same sense of strength, control, and connection—and to fall in love with Pilates the way I did.

My journey into Pilates started shortly after my university days, when I took on a front-of-house role in the studio. I initially joined to better understand Pilates while supporting myself, but being in that environment quickly sparked a deeper interest in the practice.

 

Spending time in the studio allowed me to observe classes and hear clients share how their bodies were improving, not just in strength, but in how they moved and felt day to day. I found myself drawn to the way instructors were able to break down posture and movement in a way that felt clear, supportive, and encouraging. It really resonated with me, especially my belief in wanting to help people.

 

Over time, that curiosity naturally grew into something more, and I decided to pursue my instructor training. Today, I focus on creating a comfortable and supportive space for every session, whether you’re working towards a specific goal or simply looking to move, stretch, and feel good in your body.

 

I hope to be part of your journey, and to support you through each step along the way.

My first experience of Pilates was as a pre-natal client, and I resumed Pilates classes after delivery. As someone who’s a self-confessed gym rat until baby came along, Pilates seemed pretty easy at first. However, I soon realised that I needed focus and awareness to become good at Pilates practice, something that I hadn’t brought to my fitness journey before.

On completing formal Pilates training, I’ve continued to appreciate how useful these principles of mindful movement are in our everyday lives and how applying the ideas of breath, focus, centring, control, precision and flow make you a better, more efficient mover in all other forms of exercise from running, tennis and golf to martial arts even!
Contrary to popular belief, Pilates is not just for people who have suffered injury or are experiencing chronic pain. I firmly believe that Pilates benefits everyone regardless of age, lifestyle, or activity level.

I started Pilates as a form of rehabilitation for a knee injury; recognising the immense benefits I experienced inspired me to make drastic career changes to pursue my passion where I could share the transformative power of Pilates with others.
I strongly believe that health is a conscious lifestyle choice necessary for longevity, and I hope to serve, advocate for, and improve the overall well-being of my clients.

I first encountered Pilates during my fitness journey. Hi, I’m Kiren! My journey with Pilates began as one of many hobbies when it comes to fitness. Only in my early twenties, when I encountered a weakening in one of my knees, did I stop doing what I used to adore, such as running. For that reason, I had to find an alternative to continue exercising without causing further harm to my injured knee. That was when I stumbled upon Pilates, a practice that elevated from an option I thought I was left with, into greater curiosity and deep passion.

Alongside my gentle and natural inclination to help and assist others, I’ve decided to pursue Pilates to share its many mindful benefits and cultivation, which I have been learning and have yet to discover.

Nice to meet you, I’m Ginny! I discovered Pilates while searching for a low impact, full body workout, and quickly fell in love with how it challenges the body while building strength, control, and awareness while also humbly reminding you of muscles you never knew existed.

 

What began as a personal practice gradually grew into a passion for teaching. I love helping people connect more deeply with their bodies, move with greater efficiency, and build strength that carries naturally into everyday life.

 

Alongside Pilates, I also teach barre and come from a background in ballet, which continues to shape the way I move and teach. My classes blend the precision and musicality of ballet, the burn and endurance of barre, and the control and alignment of Pilates. My journey with Pilates started when I wanted to motivate my friend to work out and improve my posture. I started with something “less intense” and thought Pilates would be a great fit. Oh boy, was I wrong—I was shaking by the end of my first class. It was a great workout, and I got addicted to it from then on. Pilates has since improved my body awareness and worked the muscles I’ve never really engaged in.

In my classes, I always plan a comprehensive full-body workout. We work on different parts of the body, ensuring a balanced and effective session, and always end with a satisfying stretch.

Having experienced backache in my younger days due to work and bad posture, I decided to try Pilates after learning the benefits from my Osteopath. After four years of practice, I embarked on a journey of discovering Pilates through the eyes of an instructor, who focused on promoting body awareness and pain management.

As a desk worker, my journey with Pilates began as a way to unwind from the tension of long hours at work, and quickly evolved into a passion for helping others connect with their bodies.

I have worked across a range of fitness studios, physiotherapy clinics and allied health centres in Melbourne, where I honed a love for building functional movement through a clinical approach in the Pilates Method.


My movement philosophy is simple: make it practical, intentional and powerful. My overarching goal for clients is to create programming that is sustainable and tailored to the realities of the daily lives of Singaporeans – whether that means rehabilitating injury, accommodating a busy schedule, or working with chronic conditions.

Hello, I’m Gwen! One of my favourite quotes is “The first wealth is health,” it reminds us that good health is the foundation for us to live life to the fullest and unlock our greatest potential. I came across Pilates when trying out different workouts to cope with the demanding corporate life that had a sedentary lifestyle and many hours of sitting in front of a computer. This led to frequent neck, shoulder and back aches and stiff hips. Pilates has helped me be more aware of my body posture and active movement and build strength in my overall body.

Having experienced the benefits of Pilates, I went on to deepen my knowledge through professional training. Now, as an instructor, I hope to have this opportunity to share what I have learnt broadly and support clients from diverse backgrounds.

I’m a certified Polestar Pilates Comprehensive trainer and licensed trainer in both GYROTONIC®️ and GYROKINESIS®️ Methods under the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®️.

I’ve been practising yoga for many years. I’m passionate about human movement and having peace of mind. I was introduced to Pilates to heal my chronic back pain due to a bad fall at work. I have experienced a wealth of benefits and transformation of my body through exercise and movement. Therefore, I embarked on my journey to becoming a qualified and internationally recognised Pilates instructor to share my experiences with others.
I realised that many people are stressed and anxious in their lives due to the fast-paced environment and have forgotten to focus on their health. I love to create a comfortable environment, paying attention to and understanding clients’ concerns. I strive to create unique exercise modifications and tailor-made programmes to develop each client’s needs for their body. This helps increase body awareness and alignment.
As my clients progress through each session with me, they gain strength, flexibility, and poise. By learning to engage their core, tone their muscles, and better control how their body moves, I hope to help them find new confidence in life.
As a mother of a three-year-old, even during my pregnancy, I enjoyed Pilates and GYROTONIC®️; they were gentle enough for me to continue until the due date, alleviating varicose veins, incontinence, and leg swelling. They helped me recover and regain abdominal strength and tone more rapidly after birth. Targeted exercises also helped relieve upper body tension from carrying my baby and helped me quickly restore strength and energy. The goal in mind was a beautiful pregnancy, a fabulous delivery, and a healthy transition into motherhood.

Hi, my name is Emma, and I am a certified Pilates instructor. I started Pilates because of my scoliosis, and my mom encouraged me to give it a try. What began as a weekly habit soon became a passion as I experienced its benefits. Pilates is more than just fancy poses—it’s about strengthening our deep intrinsic muscles to support better movement in everyday life. Most importantly, Pilates is for everyone, regardless of age, background, or fitness level.

I’m excited to share my passion for movement and help you feel taller, stronger, and more connected to your body. Looking forward to seeing you in class!

I’m an approachable and dependable teacher keen to share my passion for dance and fitness. I have been dancing since age six and started teaching in Australia in my late teens.

Since moving back to Singapore more than 10 years ago, I have dived into the fitness industry, specialising in Pilates, as it further enhances my ability to dance. Being hardworking and friendly enabled me to marry my two passions and find joy and purpose in my career.

With over a decade of experience in both fields, I am confident in delivering a safe, enjoyable and well-balanced class for people of all ages.

My journey with movement began on the water as a student-athlete in canoeing and dragon boat, and I spent years pushing my body to its limits. While that competitive background taught me the importance of raw power and physical resilience, it was my encounter with Pilates that allowed me to discover the beauty of control.


Pilates relieved the years of tension in my back that I had built up from sports. Combining my experience as a practising physiotherapist, I draw on my clinical expertise to tailor every session to your body’s specific needs. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or training for your own ‘gold medal’ moment, I’m here to help you perform at your peak.
