Collective Movement at The SPace
Intimate group sessions
A refined extension of the Piladay Academy experience
These group sessions by Piladay Academy are thoughtfully created as part of our commitment to movement education and instructor development. Led by apprentices from our academy, these sessions provide emerging instructors with the opportunity to refine their teaching practice within a guided studio environment.
While Piladay House remains centred around bespoke private Pilates experiences, this collective movement offers a quieter and more accessible expression of the Piladay philosophy, one rooted in intentional movement, precision, and continued learning.
Each session is carefully structured to uphold the standards of care, awareness, and technical foundation that define the Piladay approach. More than traditional group classes, they serve as a space where practice and education come together, allowing clients to experience movement in a considered and intimate setting while supporting the growth of future instructors within our academy.
Through this initiative, Piladay Academy continues to cultivate a new generation of practitioners shaped by experience, attentiveness, and a shared pursuit of refinement.

Our schedule is thoughtfully curated to offer a balanced range of movement experiences throughout the week. Led by apprentices from Piladay Academy, each session is designed to support different intentions, from strength and conditioning to restoration, mobility, and mindful movement.
Sessions are intentionally kept intimate to preserve a more personal and considered studio experience, allowing instructors to guide with greater attentiveness and care. We encourage reserving your preferred sessions in advance, as availability may be limited.
Booking policy
HOW TO BOOK
All bookings are managed exclusively through our Piladay app. Please download the app to access class schedules, manage reservations, and stay connected with your sessions and membership experience.
Scheduling windows will generally be opened at least 2 weeks in advance on the Piladay app. Classes may still be booked up to 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, subject to availability and completion of all required onboarding matters in advance. As sessions are intentionally kept intimate to preserve a more personal and considered experience, we encourage booking early to secure your preferred slot.
All new clients are required to complete a liability waiver and registration form prior to attending their first class. You will receive these forms via email upon registration. Please ensure they are submitted before your session, as incomplete forms may result in denied entry.
WAITLIST
You may join the waitlist through the Piladay app. If a spot becomes available more than 24 hours before the class, you will be automatically added into the class and receive an email confirmation.
Please remove yourself from the waitlist promptly if you are no longer able to attend, so that your credits can be refunded back into your account in time.
If a spot becomes available less than 24 hours before the class, you will instead receive a notification to manually secure your spot. The booking window will remain open until 15 minutes before the class begins, subject to availability.
BOOKING ERRORS
Some classes carry prerequisite requirements before booking is permitted. This applies to Multi-Level, Intermediate, and Advanced sessions across our apparatus-based classes.
For example, booking a Multi-Level Chair class requires completion of at least 3 Beginner Chair classes first. Similar prerequisites apply across other apparatus types.
These requirements are in place to protect your safety, maintain the quality and pacing of each session, and ensure a fair experience for all participants in the class. If you’re unsure where you stand, feel free to reach out and we’ll guide you.
PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
All payments are processed through the Piladay app at the time of booking.
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Credits are valid for the duration stated in your package and will expire upon the validity end date.
Credits may only be used for group classes at The Space @ Boat Quay and cannot be used across other Piladay locations or offerings unless otherwise stated.
Piladay reserves the right to amend package terms with reasonable notice.
Cancellation policy
Client cancellations
As our sessions are intentionally kept intimate, we kindly ask that all cancellations or schedule changes be made on the Piladay App at least 24 hours before class begins. Late cancellations made within this window will result in class credits deduction. No-shows will be treated as a late cancellation and the full session credit will be forfeited.
To ensure each session proceeds as planned, a minimum of 3 participants is required before class. Should the minimum not be met, you will be notified via email and no credit will be deducted.
PILADAY CANCELLATION
In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled by Piladay due to low attendance or unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified via email and your class credit will remain fully intact.
TARDINESS
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 15 minutes early for onboarding. To preserve the experience and safety of the session for all participants, entry will not be permitted more than 5 minutes after class has begun. In such instances, the session will be considered forfeited and a class credit will be deducted.
The opening moments of each class are intentionally structured to prepare the body and establish the foundation for the practice ahead. We sincerely appreciate your punctuality and consideration for the collective experience.
Important guidelines
AGE LIMITS
Our group classes are designed for adults aged 18 and above. If you are under 18 or above 60, we recommend beginning with a private session instead, a more personalised setting allows us to work with you safely and at a pace that suits your body before transitioning into a group class.
BEGINNERS
Our rooted, exhale, and poise classes are designed with beginners in mind. If you let your instructor know before class that you are new, they will offer guidance and modifications where needed to support you through the session.
We do ask that all beginners complete a minimum of 3 beginner-level classes on each apparatus before progressing to a multi-level class. This means if you are new to the Chair, we recommend attending at least 3 beginner Chair classes first and likewise, at least 3 beginner Tower classes before joining a multi-level Tower session. This ensures you have the foundational awareness to move safely and get the most out of the experience.
Please note that bookings for multi-level classes made without meeting this prerequisite may be cancelled without refund. If you’re unsure where to start, we’re always happy to help guide you.
PRE/POST NATAL CLIENTS
For your safety, pregnant clients are unable to attend our regular group classes. We recommend private sessions where our instructors can design a programme tailored specifically to where your body is right now.
Please ensure you have received clearance from your gynaecologist before booking.
INJURIES
We want to support your recovery in the safest way possible. For clients who are currently recovering from an injury or surgical procedure, we recommend beginning with a private session rather than a group class. This allows your instructor to work closely with you, understand your specific condition, and design a programme that supports your recovery without risk of aggravation.
Before booking, we do require a clearance letter from your doctor or physiotherapist confirming that you are fit to exercise. If you are unsure whether you are ready to begin, we encourage you to seek your doctor’s advice first, your wellbeing always comes before the workout.
Once you’re cleared and feeling ready, we’d love to welcome you in.
LANGUAGE
As these are group sessions, all classes are conducted in English to ensure clear communication and a consistent experience for all participants.
