It’s so hard to believe that it is five years ago we lost our colleague Sue Vincent.
She is still greatly missed.
In December 2024 Stuart posted that Ani had passed away and gone to play ‘fetch’ with her Mum.
I wrote this in March 2017 for Sue’s Photoprompt challenge.
The picture is Sue’s.

Like this bird in flight,
Take me away from this life.
Lift me high on the wing
Towards the golden rays of sunset.
Envelop me with mystic warmth,
Ease my lowly shattered spirit,
Let me join the sky to meet
The stars when they dazzle on soft dark velvet.
Nothing to get in the way,
Open seas and open courses,
The liquid path inviting as it mesmerises,
But I cannot walk on water to tread it.

Here are my ten, but no particular order.
1. The rain held off when I took the dog for a walk.
2. We had a good day yesterday and got the washing dry outside.
3. Pension day tomorrow.
4. We did a major shop on Friday and managed to get everything on our list apart from dog food.
5. Nothing we bought on Friday had gone up since last time!
6. Recent water bill was within budget.
7. Energy prices are going DOWN from April 1st (estimate according to supplier of saving us £20 a year in total).
8. Hubby has had three decent nights sleep in a row.
9. The veg patches await and the compost distributed on both.
10. Car scratches are done and you’d never know.

This week her question is;
Have you ever taken an online test for IQ?
Have you ever gotten yourself tested for IQ? Do you think that it’s only intelligence that takes a person on the path of success or is it hard work?
Jim Adams is our host and you can find our more HERE.
(Go on, take a look, you’ll be glad you did!)
This week the theme is to find a song related to Sigmund Freud’s id exhibiting instinctual drives that seek immediate pleasure or gratification without regard for reality.

Regular readers may remember we put our house on the market in 2024.
We had only one viewing with our first agent which was very disappointing over their 12 week period, but the second agent got a lot of people through our door.
We had three offers, but none panned out, and we decided to take the property off the market last October after fifteen months.
Our reasons were several:
