Rub a dub dub………….
Oh boy, were we stiff when we woke up this morning! Back issues this time and Hubby took a while to get comfy, then found some good music to listen too and slept most of the night. I, on the … Continue reading
It’s been a good day: 30th March
We could do with a few more of these. The day started bright and sunny, but the wind was still on the chilly side. Hubby walked Maya while I got breakfast, then we went into town as I had to … Continue reading

Remembering Sue
It’s so hard to believe that it is five years ago we lost our colleague Sue Vincent. She is still greatly missed. In December 2024 Stuart posted that Ani had passed away and gone to play ‘fetch’ with her Mum. … Continue reading
Personal Thoughts today
Regular readers may remember we put our house on the market in 2024. We had only one viewing with our first agent which was very disappointing over their 12 week period, but the second agent got a lot of people … Continue reading

The sun has been out again in force today and we have taken full advantage. We got the washing out on the line, and Hubby took Maya for her second walk of the day with the scooter. He was gone … Continue reading

Out for one thing, back with three.
It has been quite a day. Nothing planned, a relatively good night’s sleep, and the weather has been superb. Even got another batch of washing out on the line to dry. While Hubby walked Maya, I got breakfast then I … Continue reading
Back to school………… old school.
We woke up this morning sweating profusely, and on checking the central heating programmer saw it read 21.5º C and rising, the flame symbol showing that the heating was running. This should have been impossible as we have the thermostat … Continue reading

Today is Sunday 15th March
It is Mothering Sunday here in the UK today. It is also my Dad’s birthday and he would have been 97. The celebratory candle is burning and the smell of scented wax is wafting through the house.
