My battery won't hold a good charge anymore and think it's time to replace. The car will start but you can tell battery is getting weak. My question is should we stay with conventional battery or go with newer style AGM type? Car runs and drives great, no issues at all & well maintained since we purchased it about 2+ years ago. picture is of current battery, it seems to fit correct. This one has the factory sport suspension setup (code 030). So far, I have gotten wider wheels and tires and a smaller and thicker steering wheel. I have found that part number 997–4 26–0 11–03 is incredibly hard to locate. My car will not recognize that it is in park when it is in fact in park. I don’t know if this is something I can fix, but I’m trying to locate a shift module for my 997. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The passenger side rear window appears to have come off the track on my 2008 997.1 cabriolet. When raising the convertible roof I heard a loud clunk and the window fell down. I was able to raise the window by hand and it is not broken. Is there guidance available to access the area and assess/fix the window track?

Finished installation of engine/transmission in my 2010 cayman. While tightening the outer large nut to the axle to set torque (340 lbs) the threads stripped. Did I do something wrong or is this common on higher mileage caymans. What steps would I take to avoid this when installing the new axle. I am using a large torque wrench that I use to torque center lock wheels on my 992.1 GT3-- that torque value is much higher. ...
