FAQs
Do you have further questions about our courses? Here are answers to the most common inquiries.
MAPS continuing medical education courses are approved for Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant CEU credits by the Physical Therapy licensing board of the state in which they are held, currently accepted as pre-approved in 33+ states. For details on these approvals and for other types of clinicians, please visit our CEU Approvals page for full lists of current CEU approvals by course and state, and continuing education requirements and approvals by state.
A few of our courses offer flexible fully remote learning options, allowing you to participate in courses from the comfort of your home or office. However, most MAPS courses utilize a HYBRID learning structure in which there is an on-line component, as well as a live, in-person component. We continue to believe that the best way to learn manual therapy skills is hands-on via live, in-person classes taught by clinical experts in the field.. Many states now require live CE, so please check your state licensure requirements if you’ve opted for any fully remote courses.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your registration. We understand that circumstances change, and we aim to do our very best to accommodate your needs. You are always able to transfer to another class (one FREE transfer per registration), but refunds for a cancelled registration are subject to a $100 fee, and must be requested at least 30 days prior to the course date. No refunds are available after that time and no refunds are available for the COMT Exam or MAPS Symposium. Visit our refund and cancellation policy page to learn more.
