Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Éireann is a voluntary based cultural movement whose objectives include the promotion of traditional Irish music, song, dance and the Irish language. Founded in 1951, Comhaltas is strongly rooted within community, and has been providing opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds, particularly young people, to engage with and explore the music, song, dance and storytelling traditions of Ireland.
