Brú Ború is one of seven Regional Centres for Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the Irish cultural movement which has over 400 branches worldwide. Brú Ború, along with the six other Comhaltas Regional Centres across Ireland, makes the Comhaltas vision to “give people genuine access to the traditional arts” a reality.
Brú Ború promotes its cultural programme through education, research, publications, exhibitions and performances. We have a policy of co-operation with other cultural interests at home and abroad with a keen focus on being a very active part of our local community. Brú Ború facilities include a gift shop, ‘Sounds of History’ cultural exhibition, theatre, café, restaurant, conference facilities, the South Tipperary Genealogy suite and more. During the summer months of July and August we have our famous Summer Show nights. These shows of Irish traditional music, song and dance entertain thousands of visitors each year and are one the highlights of our annual programme in Brú Ború.
Brú Ború offers you an unique Irish cultural experience nestling in the shadow of the ancient Rock of Cashel.
Join the millions who have discovered Brú Ború. A Céad Míle Fáilte awaits you.
