Mariol, a teenage 'misfit' girl forces an acquaintance with a semi-reclusive man in his sixties. The characters in the story come from varying socio-economic backgrounds and sexual orientation. Some love Mariol and some dislike her. Those that love her, save her from the destructive forces that rage within her. This is a story of human trauma, of love, kindness, need and greed.
