The Common Control Objects, developed by Curtiss Monroe and RCS/NCR, are a set of OPOS controls that are available for public use. These controls can be used for automation, backup and restore, battery utilities, benchmarking, calculators, CD and DVD software, clipboard tools, device assistants, disk management, file compression, file managers, fonts, gadgets and widgets, networking, plugins and addons, remote computing, system optimization, virtualization, and drivers.
As a combination of the personal effort of Curtiss Monroe plus as part of RCS / NCR's commitment to the retail community, a complete set of OPOS control objects have been developed for public use. These are referred to as the "Common Control Objects."
