Where to Donate

Moving locally, downsizing, or relocating to another state? Sometimes, the best way to deal with extra furniture is not to move it at all! Donating is a great way to give back while lightening your load. Many charities will happily take your unwanted furniture, household goods, or even non-perishable food.

Here are some trusted organizations that accept donations:

Goodwill

Your donated items serve a dual purpose—providing affordable furniture for those in need and funding job training and community programs. With over 2,700 donation locations across North America, many offer pickup services. Contact your local Goodwill to schedule a donation pickup.

🚛 Pickup available: Schedule a furniture pickup through their website.

📦 How it works: Let your moving company know you’d like to donate, and they’ll take care of the rest on move day.
