Publications using GTEx or dGTEx network samples or data should follow the citation outline provided in the GTEx Portal. To specifically cite tissue samples received through dGTEx, an example of acknowledgments text that can be used is below:
“The tissue samples used in this work are from the NIH-funded Developmental Genotype-Tissue Expression (dGTEx) network and were provided by the dGTEx Biospecimen Procurement Center (BPC) [5U24HD106537] on behalf of the dGTEx network. NDRI is happy to participate in the Research Resource Identifier (RRID) Program. RRIDs are ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (antibodies, model organisms, biosamples, software projects, etc.) in biomedical literature to improve transparency of research methods.
When using samples from this resource, all presentations and publications should reference the Research Resource Identifier specific to each sample.
