Ronald Johnson was confirmed by the Senate as Ambassador to Mexico on April 9, 2025. He has served the United States government for over four decades, first as an officer in the U.S. Army, then as a member of the intelligence community, and most recently as the U.S. Ambassador to El Salvador.

Melissa A. Bishop, is the Consul General in Monterrey, Mexico. Prior to her current role, Melissa served as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Mission to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Her extensive career in the U.S. Foreign Service includes a recent role as Consular Chief at the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi.

Drew Hoster arrived in Hermosillo in June 2025 to serve as the Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General. In this role, he oversees all consulate operations and leads efforts to strengthen the U.S.-Mexico relationship in Central-Southern Sonora and Sinaloa.
