Melanie Anne Zimmerman, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service with the rank of Counselor, was most recently the acting Deputy Chief of Mission and the Minister Counselor for Multilateral, Economic and Political Affairs at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

Ben Hesprich is the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Bangui, Central African Republic, beginning August 2025. He is a career diplomat since 2010. He served overseas in Albania, Guyana, India and Pakistan.
