Overview
The Lawrence Branch supports hundreds of youth and adults every single day. More than 200 children are part of the branch’s child care, early education and afterschool programs. Programs for Teens include Adelante Scholars, Yo Puedo, and Teen Achievers, all of which support education and leadership development while providing enrichment activities. Families, teens and adult members have access to the fitness center, gym and swim lessons and open swim is offered in the swimming pool.
The Lawrence Y also provides housing for 70 men in its single-room occupancy housing program.
Free parking for the Lawrence YMCA is available behind the International Institute at 125 Amesbury Street ONLY in parking spots marked with a “Y,” located to the right of the lot upon entry. Parking is not allowed at 101 Amesbury Street. Metered street parking is available on all surrounding streets between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
