  • Christmas is a reminder of God’s greatest gift to humanity.

It is the season we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the One who came not in wealth or power, but in humility, love, and obedience to the Father’s will.

Jesus was born to bring hope to the hopeless, light to those in darkness, and salvation to all who believe. Christmas reminds us that God’s love is real, sacrificial, and unconditional. “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.” (Isaiah 9:6)

As we celebrate, may we not only exchange gifts but also reflect Christ in our actions, showing love, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion to everyone around us. Let us remember that Jesus is the true reason for the season.
May the joy, peace, and grace of Christ fill our hearts and homes this Christmas.

Take a moment to appreciate someone who has stood by you and never gave up on you. A simple message, video, or gift can mean more than you know, they truly deserve it.

  • Deception

Deception is the act of hiding the truth, twisting facts, or presenting a false image in order to mislead others. It often wears a convincing mask, kind words, sweet promises, and good appearances, but beneath it lies dishonesty and selfish intent. Deception does not always come loudly; most times it whispers, making lies look like truth and wrong choices seem right.

One of the greatest dangers of deception is that it does not only deceive others, it deceives the person practicing it. When someone repeatedly lives in falsehood, their conscience becomes dull, and they begin to justify actions that are harmful, sinful, or unjust. What starts as “just a small lie” can grow into a lifestyle of manipulation and hypocrisy.

In relationships, deception destroys trust. Trust is the foundation of any healthy relationship, and once it is broken, rebuilding it is difficult and sometimes impossible. A deceiver may gain temporary benefits, but the long-term cost is loss of credibility, respect, and genuine connection.

Spiritually, deception separates people from God. The Bible warns that God desires truth in the inward parts, not outward appearance. Living in deception creates distance from God because truth and light cannot coexist with lies and darkness. Deception blinds people to correction, wisdom, and growth.

The cure for deception is truth, humility, and repentance. Choosing honesty, even when it is uncomfortable, brings freedom and peace. Truth may expose faults, but it also heals, restores, and leads to genuine transformation. A life built on truth may face challenges, but it will stand firm, unlike deception, which always collapses in the end.

“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)

  • A Word for the Broken, the Wounded, and the Silent Sufferer

That secret pain you went through…
That trauma you never spoke about…
It slowly pulled you away from God.

    You stopped praying.
    You stopped studying the Word.
You stopped yearning for His presence.
Deep in your heart, you began to question if God was still there, if He ever was.

    You feel empty.
    Lost.
    Disconnected from purpose.
    Dreams faded. Ambitions died.
You feel stuck, dull, and unsure of your next step.

Sometimes you think, “Maybe this is God punishing me for my past sins.”
Sometimes you feel too broken to pray, convinced God won’t hear you, that He’s angry with you and has abandoned you.

But this is not the truth.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
    — Psalm 34:18

You blame yourself for what happened.
You carry guilt that was never yours to carry.
You started believing the labels people placed on you, failure, lazy, not good enough, left behind.

But God never called you any of those things.

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.”
    — Isaiah 43:1

Even when you walked away, God never left you.
Even when you stopped seeking Him, He kept watching over you.
Even in your silence, He heard the cries your lips could not utter.

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast? … Though she may forget, I will not forget you.”
    — Isaiah 49:15

What you went through did not happen because God hated you.
It happened in a broken world, but God allowed it because He intends to heal, restore, and use you.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
    — Romans 8:28

If this message feels like it’s speaking directly to you, it’s because God sees you.
Humans may overlook you, but God never does.

    “You see me.”
    — Genesis 16:13

So today, turn your heart back to Him, not with perfection, but with honesty.
Come broken. Come weary. Come as you are.

“A broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.”
    — Psalm 51:17

    A Prayer for You

I pray that the mercy of God locates you and sets you free.
I pray that the light that went out within you comes alive again.
May God heal every hidden wound and restore your peace.
May your destiny be revived and your purpose revealed.
May the Spirit of God visit you with a divine encounter that transforms your life for good.

“He restores my soul; He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
    — Psalm 23:3

    You are not forgotten.
    You are not abandoned.
    You are not beyond restoration.

    This is your sign.
God is calling you back home.

  • Genuine Love, Fake Love, and Lust (Biblical Perspective)

Genuine love is pure, patient, and selfless. It seeks the good of the other person, even when it costs something. Genuine love is not driven by selfish desires or personal gain; it is rooted in truth, respect, commitment, and sacrifice. It protects, nurtures, and stands firm through seasons of joy and hardship.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud… Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” — 1 Corinthians 13:4–6

Fake love pretends to care but is conditional and self-serving. It appears affectionate when things are convenient, but disappears when sacrifice, patience, or accountability is required. Fake love often manipulates, deceives, and seeks personal benefit rather than mutual growth. It speaks sweet words but lacks genuine actions.
“Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.” — Romans 12:9

Lust is driven by desire, not devotion. It focuses on physical satisfaction, pleasure, or possession rather than the heart, soul, and well-being of the person. Lust may feel intense, but it is temporary and often leaves emptiness, guilt, and brokenness in its wake. Unlike love, lust takes; love gives.
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not from the Father but from the world.” — 1 John 2:16

In summary, genuine love builds and honors God, fake love deceives and disappoints, and lust consumes and destroys. As believers, we are called to love as Christ loves, purely, faithfully, and selflessly.
“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” — 1 Peter 4:8

  • One time, I had a conversation with my sister about what true friendship really means. We talked about how genuine friends stand by each other and truly have one another’s back. True friendship is not driven by envy or jealousy. A real friend does not seek your downfall or rejoice when you are in pain or experiencing loss. Instead, they desire your growth in every aspect of life.

A true friend checks up on you, values your presence, and makes time for you. They find joy in your happiness, and your pain becomes their pain. They do not gossip about you behind your back; rather, they protect your integrity and speak well of you even in your absence. Their love is genuine, deep, and from the heart.

If you are blessed with friends who love you unconditionally, cherish and appreciate them. Such friendships are rare to find in these times.
