Faith without ACTION is dead: A necessary tool so God can show His power

I was asked by my group leader in our church to explain what James 2:26 is and I was not satisfied with my answer after that and so this pushed me to ponder more about how was this verse applies in my life.
I vividly remember when I was 22 year old earning a little income. I juggled with spending my money on the high cost of living in the metro, giving my tithes and offering and not to forget sharing to others the little thing that I have. Yet, despite that and not knowing what will the future may bring, I boldly prayed to God for Him to allow me experience riding in a plane and be in other country not for work but for vacation even just once as this will be my life testimony that, I may not be rich but my God is .
Fastforward in the year 2016, I was 25 then and it so happened that it was the graduation of my eldest sister in her Masters in Korea and so our family planned to attend the ceremony. We hurriedly processed our passport and visa but things did not work out smoothly on my part. A simple problem as how it was supposed to be but, it became complicated. Thankfully, during the day I processed my passport for the first time, I asked God to show me how will it turn out and this is how the story goes and how God work hand in hand with me while gaining lessons from Him.

1. Direction- I asked God during my quiet time on the things that will happen since it will be my first time to process my passport. He told me through His word that I will go back four times but at the end of the day, everything will be alright. True to His word, I was rejected coz my birth certificate has no identified gender and so annotation is needed. I asked God why? But i just hold on to His promise and I did the things needed so I can travel with my family.
2. Godly wisdom- as I traveled from Pangasinan to Manila and vice versa to follow up my birth certificate since it is been three months yet, the PSA cannot give me exact status about it. This is not easy because it is time consuming and tiring due to the distance traveled and even caused me to spend money for the fare. So the second time I went in Manila, God gave me wisdom to call the courier first and asked them who received my documents. My parents comforted me too that time coz they find it impossible for me to go with them coz I havent gotten my birth certificate yet it is already the last week of June and our travel date was on the third week of July. I only have less than 4 weeks left but I dont have passport yet and my visa. Reality is giving me an obvious reason not to continue but God's promise to me kept echoing in my mind. I didnt doubt Him and rebook my flight instead few days after our original flight. As I came back in PSA, I told the guard to let me speak to the person who received my docunents but instead they brought me to the supervisor of the department qnd she told me to give it first Thursday of July after an intense discussion with her and got it as promised. If God did not give me wisdom on what to do, then maybe fixing my birth certificate was prolonged.
3. Divine intervention- after I got my birth certificate, I was so worried coz how can I easily get my passport the fastest as can be knowing that there will be long queues etc? Thankfully, God used my sister and her friend so I can get a priority lane where I was able to get my passport on the second week and got my Korean Visa on the third week a day before my new scheduled flight!

The perks of Faith with Action:
-I was able to have a solo flight successfully and made me not to fear traveling alone to a distant land.
-My family and I was able to travel complete for the first in other country.
-I asked for God to allow me experience riding an airplane while traveling in other country even just once but He bless me to travel every year to different countries and even let me travel in a cruise ship for a day.
-Financial provision

I realized now that it is not me but, it is God who actually works in my life. Through faith, obedience takes place and as you obey God's instruction, then it tends you to do an action.
Obviously, I am just a vessel where He can show His power, His goodness, blessings and His good plans in my life. God is good!

If only I could rewind and make good use of those wasted time
If only I could take back then my arrogance and choose to learn what humble truly means
With so much self confidence, I lose myself
With so much failing yet, never learned and just turned to regret

How could I make up for things, no I cannot do it on my own
How could I correct my wrongs, it is you God who can do it all
I always put you to shame but you never blame
I give you so much pain but your love is what I always gain

As I again step up, Father God be my back up
As I start anew, help me this time on how to live for you
I realized without you, I cannot do any best
I now fully entrust then God, my whole life to you as you lead me the right way.
