  • I don't know where you have directed your faith to, but do you know that you can put your faith on what you are not supposed to put faith on? The bible in Hebrews 12:2 tells us that we should look onto Jesus the author and perfector of our faith. And so if the bible tells us that He is the author of our faith then it means that we are not supposed to have faith without Him. It means that without Him coming into the world, suffering for our sins, dieing for us and resurrecting from the dead we are not supposed to have faith in anything else. Because a book can never start without the author and in the same way our faith is not supposed to start without Jesus because He is the author and perfector of our faith. It is not supposed to start without us first of all pointing it to His birth, suffering, death and resurrection. Therefore the question is, in your Christian walk what do you believe in? Where have you directed your faith? Our faith must be driven by what Jesus did because everything that we need for life and godliness is all met on what Jesus did and even the whole scriptures from genesis to revelation are talking about Jesus, all the scriptures were written just to explain about Jesus, therefore if you have not found Jesus from the scripture which you like reading in the old testament, then you have not yet gotten the revelation. Let your faith evolve around the story of Jesus. And most of you think that you don't have faith but the fact is that you have faith but you don't just have a proper revelation on which your faith can rest. There is completely no person on earth who does not have the necessary faith that is able to save him/her or to produce the required answers for our prayers, we all have the necessary faith that is able to produce the required results but the only problem is that we have directed some potions of our faith to believing things that are not part of the revelation about Christ Jesus, some of us have directed out faith in believing in Muhammad, some in believing witch doctors, same in believing human science, some in believing other gods but if you can make a decision today and gather your faith from all manner of things that you have believed in and direct that faith to the true revelation about Jesus Christ your faith can produce much results. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, He is the reason why the word faith exists because just has a book can never exist without the author, there would have never been a word called faith if Jesus was never to come on earth but people have used faith in a wrong way, faith existed for Jesus even before Jesus Came in the word because Jesus is a Lamb that was prepared to come and die for us even before the creation of the world. And so scripture in Hebrews 12:2 has told us that He is the author and perfector of our faith, which means that our faith is never said to be perfect unless it is being used to believe in Jesus Christ because it is only in concentrating on Jesus' story and applying it on that story that our faith is perfected because scripture have told us that He is the perfector of our faith. Scripture has told us that "looking into Jesus the author and perfector of our faith" which means that Jesus is the one we must look onto, He is the one our faith must look onto. Therefore where have you directed you faith to? There is no person on judgement day who will condemn God that he was not given faith because we all have faith (given to us by God, right from birth) but where we apply our faith is where the problem comes from. There is no bible passage in the old testament not even one that is not found in what Jesus did for us 2000 years ago, that is why the disciples who wrote the four gospel books wrote and said that if what Jesus did was to all be written the whole world can not contain the number of books that can be written because just in the three years that Jesus did the work of God, the whole old testament books were covered, all the books explained a part about Him. Therefore today direct your faith towards what Jesus did for you by discovering what exact his being born, suffering, death and resurrection means for you as a believer and if you discover this you will discover that there is no prayer that you can pray today that God did not already work on through the man JESUS.
