In the beginning of our faith, we are saved by the free gift of God's grace into the kingdom of Christ, but in the end, it's a righteous judgement to make it into the kingdom of the Heavenly Father. Denying ourselves, picking up our cross, and following (obeying) Christ is the only sure way of making it in the end. #faith

📖 2 Peter 3:9-11 KJV - The Lord is NOT SLACK concerning his PROMISE, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING that ANY SHOULD PERISH, but that all should come to REPENTANCE. But the DAY of the LORD will come as a THIEF in the night; in the which the HEAVENS shall PASS AWAY with a great noise, and the ELEMENTS shall MELT with FERVENT HEAT, the earth also and the WORKS that are therein shall be BURNED up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what MANNER of persons OUGHT ye to BE in all HOLY conversation and GODLINESS, 👉 The Day of the Lord is the day of God’s judgment on the earth. Here Peter is speaking of Christ’s return. Christ’s second coming will be sudden and terrible for those who do not believe in Him. But if we are in a right relationship with God, we will be ready and won’t be surprised. The days are getting shorter and time is flying bye so fast, faster than ever before. For we don't know what tomorrow will bring, for life is too short. So get right with God today as in TODAY is the DAY of your SALVATION. If you HEAR His VOICE do NOT HARDEN your heart, as they did in the day of TEMPTATIONS in the wilderness.
