These Crosses were outside a Church during Holy Week. It was a reminder of what Jesus did on the Cross. This nail is a reminder of the painful death He went through. This picture of the soldiers, the crown of thorns reminds us of the gruesome death Jesus to face. On the Cross Jesus even in agony forgave the people.

Today we remember Jesus love for us on the Cross. Jesus willingly went to the Cross so we could have eternal life. As I reflect on this Good Friday. I am reminded of Paul words "It was while we were still sinners Christ died for us" The Cross is about God restoring the broken relationship that began in Genesis 3 where Adam and Eve disobeyed God and at the Cross our relationship is restored

The first Sermon preached by the first Chaplain Rev Richard Johnson, who was the on the First Fleet to land in Australia. The message was preached Sunday 3rd February 1788. The text was Psalm 116:12-13.

As 2025 comes to a close its time to reflect on the year gone past. To think about what God has done for you. Reflect on how God has been with you in the tough times and uplifted you. For me, my 2025 has been a time of highs and lows. The lows dealing with my wife Rosie MS and my oldest son Peter who on Christmas day 2022 came out as transgender woman. I can say that God has been my tower of strength. The highlights, my younger son Christopher who is youth pastor and a school chaplain, in South Australia they are called Pastoral support workers at a high school. For me Christopher at the request of some of his youth invited me to be youth leader. I have been able to share Jesus love to the youth.
As you go into 2026 may God bless you and honour you in all that you do. May God be with you in all that you do.

The Salvation Poem. This Salvation Poem is pointing on how to have a relationship with Jesus.

Jesus came to restore the broken relationship between God and the human race that began Genesis 3:15.
As Jesus said John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"

This picture reminds us that the Christmas event of the birth of Jesus came into the world to restore the broken relationship between God and the human race. As John writes in John Gospel chapter one verse 14, the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
Without the Christmas event there is no Easter event.

As a follower of Jesus, I have so much to say thank you for everything you have done for me. Jesus set me free. Jesus healed me. Jesus gave me a wonderful wife and family. Jesus gave me hope and eternal life.

This picture reflects the true nature of the family unit.

In 10 days time we will celebrate the Birth of of Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus entered into the world as a baby. He came into the world to restore the broken relationship between the human race and God. As we celebrate this birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded of the Hope this Christ child brings.
As we look at the first Christmas we read in in Luke's Gospel chapter two when Jesus was born, the heavens opened and the great Heavenly host praising God and saying
"Glory to God in the highest heaven and peace on earth to those whom His favour rests"
In John Gospel chapter one verse one John says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. We then read in John one verse 14, The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.
I am reminded that the message of the Christmas story of the Son of God who became flesh to live among the people is still for today, as we sadly saw yesterday the sad events at Bondi Beach where innocent people were killed and wounded, the need for Jesus is so important. The message of Hope is still the same.
I pray that as you celebrate Christmas you will remember that this baby born in a shed came to save the world. Came to offer you hope. That God loved us so much that he sent His one and only Son so we could have that personal relationship with Him. May your Christmas be a blessed one.

Today in Bondi in Sydney Australia, there was a mass shooting where at least 10 people were killed. A tragic incident for the family and friends who lost loved ones and had loved ones hospitalised. As I reflect on this. It is a time for us as Christians to pray for those families who have lost loved ones in this tragedy. The Word says blessed are those who mourn as they will comforted. Please pray for those who lost loved ones tonight.

I saw this on Facebook and felt it was worth posting as the insight here was interesting to see from an atheist. This gives us food for thought.
