Dang, no doughnuts! That makes it tough. If I’m with friends rather than family members and so have to be on my best behavior, then something I can eat without looking like a caveman is good. Maybe those little sausages on a stick or something.
If I’m with my family at Christmas or something like that, the food I love to eat because I almost never get the chance is Brussels sprouts. Everybody else has them purely because of tradition. I actually like them.

Wow! That’s a huge jump! From jelly doughnuts to Brussels sprouts! Who would’ve thunk it! Ha ha! ( I like them too. )
