Boo Boo

Whenever something’s wrong
And I know that I am right
I always bellow BOO BOO
And do it just for spite
Whenever stuff seems faulty
And is rotten more or less
I hoot and holler BOO BOO
Like everyone else at WordPress

Half-cracked and crazy
Is the way we often act
Giving to others a goofy little wack
I’m not a lying it simply is a fact
Sometimes when speaking
We choose to attack
Then we repent and also retract
And everything we said we take right back
Here’s the post when we were only CRAZY.
The following is from the newsletter I receive from Joyce Vance most every morning. I wish I could post the entire message. I only hope some of you might have subscribed.
“Keeping focus is difficult. Keeping the public focused and building awareness is an entirely different challenge. It’s that disinformation game that Trump has succeeded in so far. I’m going to aim for more focus and organization and less scattered outrage over everything—although I know that’s going to be a challenge.”
There is no one more focused, organized and highly motivated than Joyce. I think she is telling us to not bury our head in the sand but keep alert and watchful. Crazy things are already beginning to happen and they will only get crazier.

“I don’t make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts.” Will Rogers
She sat down at her ‘puter with hands on the keys.
(a story to write that surely would please)
Another challenge she now had started.
(she always had been a bit foolhearted)
She was not going to write her story in rhyme.
(at least for once not this time)
The stories others write are ever so clever.
(to accomplish that would take her forever)
They use exotic verbs and some other words.
(just to describe the bees and the birds)
Their entries with adjectives always are padded.
(sounds so silly what they have added)
One blogger always writes a funny ending
(seems to be now what is a trending)
Another writes tales that are so gruesome.
(has the nerve to suggest a twosome)
Then there is he who notes his word count.
(must think his blog is paramount)
And now this story has come to a close.
(and to think she’s written it all in prose)

The Magic Unicorn Challenge encourages us to have fun and use our imagination to create a story of 250 words or less based on a given picture. The picture reminded me of having to choose between coffee or tea. I usually write in rhyme so this week I decided to attempt to write prose. No problem, I can do that.

Last week a crazy blogger called me a crazy lady for using my imagination. And the crazy part was that the comment was not made on my blog but on another crazy blogger’s blog. I wonder if he dare be crazy enough to call me a crazy lady on my own blog. And I wonder who the other crazy blogger was who liked the post that called me a crazy lady. Maybe it was a crazy unicorn?
