Boo Boo

Whenever something’s wrong
And I know that I am right
I always bellow BOO BOO
And do it just for spite
Whenever stuff seems faulty
And is rotten more or less
I hoot and holler BOO BOO

There’s nothing more that I can do
You’re tired of me I’m tired of you
There’s nothing more that can be said
You’re crude and rude and I’m well bred
We quarrel when we first awake
We feud and fight how our tongues ache
We curse and swear in our own way
Then do the same the very next day
You think that I’m a chatterbox
The same to you you big fat ox
It’s time to now turn off the light
For in the night me you ignite
She read the note with great concern
Read it again felt a slow burn
Why did he treat her in this way
She’d write him back do it today
It was her turn
They had quarreled just like before
He’d left the house and slammed the door
She thought about what she would write
It must be firm but yes polite
She thought some more
And then she mused why should she care
He would not leave ‘twould be unfair
She knew she had the upper hand
And if he did she’d take a stand
He would not dare
She heard him come back in the house
So quietly just like a mouse
He entered then into the room
With flowers sweet all in full bloom
A thoughtful spouse
