now the day is done
heading toward peace and calm
all becomes tranquil

The Joy Of Sand
Redux
innocence at play
peaceful sand beneath her feet
enjoying the waves

Daydreams
a lonely turtle
waiting for my arrival
i am sure he is
Around The Bend
what adventure will we have
what discoveries will we make
patiently awaiting our destiny
continued soft sandy, white beach line
complete with more palm trees
to evade the dastardly sunburn
or will a multitude of tourists accost us
drunken, boisterous travelers
noisy, gregarious children
we continue silently
fingers crossed for peace and solitude
a place to let our hair down and inhibitions to roam
Daydreaming

the beach is crowded
i sure wish it was empty
just me and my love
Fragrant
flowers adorn sea
winds carrying their fresh scent
inhaling sweet air
An Adventure To The Dark Side
surprisingly soft
an unexpected delight
black beach sand squashy
Like A Siren’s Call

blissful warmth and calm
i would happily die there
wrapped in lapping waves
Are We There Yet?
Redux

beautiful white snow
deceiving
in the dark night
icy and cold
chilled to the bone
layers, way too many
your world is sunny
rather visit there
wanting to thaw out
beautiful white sand
inviting
in the bright day
oh, do let me come stay with you!

longing for downtime
from the vivid hysteria
and the overtone of potential violence
may everydayness return soon
for my psyche is exhausted, actually
from the constant undertone of mayhem
may i be fortunate to hear
the refreshing whispers of the seaside
while becoming more and more subdued
