Intel Integrated Sensor Solution (ISS) is a system driver and background service from Intel Corporation that enables Windows to communicate with the Intel Integrated Sensor Hub (ISH) found in many modern Intel-based PCs. It provides standardized, power‑efficient access to built-in sensors—such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, ambient light, proximity, and lid/hall sensors—through Windows sensor frameworks. This support allows features like automatic screen rotation, motion and gesture awareness, and adaptive display brightness to work reliably while minimizing CPU usage and conserving battery life.
The software has no end‑user interface and is typically preinstalled by the PC manufacturer or distributed via Windows Update. Keeping it current helps maintain stability, performance, and compatibility for sensor‑dependent apps and Windows features. Disabling or removing it may cause sensors or related functions to stop working. Application access to sensor data is governed by Windows privacy settings.
Intel Integrated Sensor Solution is developed by Intel Corporation and is used by 331 users of Software Informer. The most popular version of this product among our users is 3.1. The names of program executable files are GfxUI.exe, IAStorUI.exe.
