Ben Edwards is an experienced Mining Engineer with 15 years industry experience across multiple open cut and underground hard rock operations throughout Australia.
Throughout his career Ben has held a range of rolls from typical Mining Engineering roles, through to Business Improvement, Operations, Technology Projects, Site Operations Centre’s, and General Mining Projects.
Ben’s passion lies in being on site working with and leading operational teams and throughout his experience has developed a sound understanding and appreciation for technology projects in the underground mining space and how they can add real value in safety and productivity for underground operators. Ben is currently the Superintendent – Mine Projects at BHP’s Carrapateena Mine is SA.
