Our Professional Behaviour Policy ensures a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where students can thrive. We set high expectations for how our students conduct themselves in and outside of the classroom, ensuring that they embody the behaviours required to be truly industry-ready. This includes:
- In Lessons: Students are expected to demonstrate punctuality, preparedness, and active participation, mirroring the behaviours expected in any professional setting. Arriving on time, having the right tools, and engaging respectfully are key components of our approach to fostering a professional atmosphere.
- Around the Academy: Professionalism extends beyond the classroom. Students are taught to conduct themselves with courtesy and respect in all areas of the Academy, as well as in the wider community. This mirrors the collaborative and respectful environments they will encounter in the industry.
- In the Community: As future professionals, our students represent Global Academy whenever they are in the community. Whether it’s through maintaining high standards of dress or demonstrating responsibility in their interactions, they understand the importance of professionalism as part of being industry-ready.
Through our Careers Kickstarter Programme, students are introduced to real-world workplace expectations. We focus on developing crucial professional skills such as teamwork, communication, and leadership, ensuring that when they leave Global Academy, they are not only academically accomplished but also fully prepared to enter the industry.

Supporting Your Success
We understand that sometimes challenges arise, and we are here to support students in maintaining their attendance. If a student is facing difficulties that affect their ability to attend, we encourage them to speak to their pastoral support team so we can work together to keep them on track for success.
